Today is July 16th, 2026; it has been a very long time since I've posted here at skateinthesun.  I am now living in NE Ohio, and currently the air is completely saturated with smoke from wildfires.  The Summer is intensely hot and the sky is intently modified.  The sun is being blocked.  They're trying to keep things cool, but we are in for a hot ride.  

A friend of mine has invited me to a DIY skatepark in Cleveland called Demon Zu DIY.

He is also helping to build the new DIY in Kenmore.

I am looking forward to getting back into not only skating but posting here and having an online presence.

Work

 Today I am gratefully “on the farm” at Cindy’s greenhouse. I just stocked all the animal feed she got in and am about to organize and clean up the barn where all the tools and machines are kept. It’s a beautiful clear day and the ground is still frozen solid. I cannot upload pictures yet by my phone for some reason;  haven’t quite figured it out.  I just posted my first blog in so many years yesterday. I’m on a journey, as are we all. So if you care to take a peek in, see what my life may be, and if you care to share let me know what’s going on with you. 

Thank! You! ¡Also got word that I will be going over to watch my 3 year old son open presents on Saturday with his mommy, Bb, and Great Nana!  ¡@m excited for that!

 I am back at the 27 Club Coffee; MGK’s coffee shop in Downtown, Cleveland. The last time I was here I had just been fired from my carpentry job by my friend Max Yax. Well, he re-hired me and we stained a table-top the wrong color, so I have the afternoon off.  So I came back to this cool place. I really have been struggling to financially lately, so I come back to my blog in hopes of relating my story in order to help find my way, to get help, and to share in this amazing experience we call life.

 Just checked out Tremont Coffee’s new location on Tuscarawas East Lincoln Highway. They were nice enough to give me my coffee for free since my debit card isn’t working and they are not accepting cash. It was a nice place and seemed like a pretty popular location.

It has been quite a while since I have posted. I now live in Canton, Ohio. There is a sweet DIY skatepark here. 

Summit Skate Park

The Summit Skate Park at the Boy Scout Camp near Fayetteville, West Virginia is a huge skate paradise.  I got to skate it as a guest thanks to a special invite from my good friend Nick.
