Illinois

    Hit the road at 4 A.M.  After dropping a friend off at the Pittsburgh International Airport, my friend Jeff and I drove up to I-80.  After almost running out of gas in Ohio, we were driving west all day.  We stopped at Lake Michigan in a place called Portage.  All over the shore of the lake is industry, so we decided against swimming.  We found Martin Campground in Joliet, IL.  It was $25 for the two of us, and we have showers!  We got here about 3, so I napped for a while, and then we made rice and black beans, with onion from my brothers garden.  Here I am still, on the edge of the wi-fi range, hoping my computer doesnt shut off again.  If you get to read this post, then it all worked out.  Thanks, stay tuned, more of Mo's adventures in America coming.  

Car Check

    I just got my car out of the shop, and am almost ready to head for MO.  On the way, skating and camping, in the beautiful country of the United States of America.  I can't wait to see more of the west, but also will enjoy returning to WV in the autumn.  Lil' Homey is turning 1000; he is an elf, on September 22nd, so I wanna get bacl to celebrate.  Until then, more time out and about.  Thanks for checking in.

Barely Standing

    After staying up all night I can say I am barely standing.  Thursday through Sunday of music made me drowsy and content.  The weekend before was the Brew Skies Festival in Canaan, so I am glad to kick back for a minute.  This week I am taking off for Montana, and plan on returning in a few weeks.

Barefoot

    I am going to the Barefoot Festival this weekend to volunteer for Mtn. State Brewing Company.  I am excited to see Ghostland Observatory and Karl Denson.  After this weekend I am gearing up for Montana.  In all the time away, I can't wait to set out again.

Start Up

    Today someone asked if I had started raising money for the skatepark, and I made up some excuse for not getting to it.  So I guess it is time to get organized.  The sooner the word gets out, the closer we will be to shredding in Davis.

Camp Closed

  We left our campsite out on the blackwater to stay past Lindy Point in Blackwater Falls State Park.  At the moment, home sweet home holds us, until we journey out the door again.  We may skate Front Royal, VA tomorrow.  IN the meantime, eating more wild mushrooms.                                      Who skoots for you, who skoots for you all?

Awesome August

  I have been slowly exposing my friends to the beauty of Canaan in the last few days.  We found some work to get us back on top, and are camping, living the good life.
