A journey of skateboarding across the United States, at skateparks in various cities. I am organizing to build a skate park in my hometown of Davis, West Virginia. A skate park that is free of charge and open to everyone will be a positive addition to the community, providing a place for kids and athletes alike to gather and skate.

Got to Longboard Today
The streets of Nevada City are steep, but I still crushed a few. I saw a police car and picked up my board, no problems. I talked to a kid at Mekka Cafe and he said the SPD Market had some good parking lots that connected to other small businesses. Just skated in the yard yesterday on the little wooden ramp and stretch of concrete there. Still sunny, still smiling, still skating.

Check out Condon Park. Great disc golfing and the definite local hang out. At least it was years ago...I thought that they had a skate park?
ReplyDeleteMiss ya man, lots of folks are asking about you, come back sometime this winter!
Yeah, Condon Park rocks! The skate park is sick and always lots of kids hanging out. I am stoked to have a park close... off to Tahoe next!
